TV Schedule Confirmed for 2004 Dos Equis World Finals

The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) and IMG announced today the television broadcast schedule for the 2004 Dos Equis Desert XX featuring the Dos Equis World Finals.

Dos Equis Desert XX and the Dos Equis World Finals will be broadcast to 80 million households on Fusion TV, airing on Fox Sports Net from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday (10/27, 11/10 & 11/17). The event will be broadcast in three 1-hour segments for a total of three (3) hour of coverage. The shows will also air to 90 countries around the world via international syndication. A one-hour video and DVD will be available by December.

Wednesday, November 10, 2004 – 4:00pm (segment 2)
Wednesday, November 17, 2004 – 4:00pm (segment 3)

In addition to world-class PWC racing, the shows will feature interviews with racers, personalities, sponsors, and sports coverage in Freestyle Motocross, mini-moto, BMX and skateboarding and concerts, as well as a look at Lake Havasu City.

The shows will build interest in watercraft racing by focusing on the personalities and accomplishments of the racers competing in the sport across the world, and by naturally integrating the racers’ stories and behind-the-scenes activities into the race coverage. The insight into the lives of these world-class athletes helps generate additional interest in the sport, and will make it easier for fans to follow their favorite racer in the years to come.

The 2004 Dos Equis Desert XX featuring the Dos Equis World Finals takes place October 3-10 at the Crazy Horse Campground on the shores of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
