Wow 185 Pilots at the 2016 IJSBA European Championships. Good job to Peter, Deborah, and crew. Here is their recap and results:
For the second year in row we held our annual European Jettribe Jetski Championship in Nysa, Poland. If you have been there you know this is the perfect location to hold this Championship! Without the help of city Nysa this wouldn’t have been possible, we can’t thank them enough and really enjoyed working together.
Even though the weather wasn’t that great we had an even bigger and well organised championship then last year! Janusz Stajak and Agnieszka Siergiej with whom we co-organised this event, our own IJSBA Europe team and our media team Jetski’n’world did an amazing and outstanding job!
185 pilots, 265 entrees and almost 30 nationalities, without a doubt we grew bigger and better. Lots of pilots defending their own title and new pilots trying to take their first title home. Closed course and endurance racing combined with different categories of freestyle, a perfect combination to please our crowd.
For the first time since we’ve started our championship in 2011 our main sponsor jettribe was represented. Tony Vo came all the way to Nysa to meet the organisers and pilots. Jettribe has a stand at our event where pilots can buy race gear and clothing. This stand has been a great success since the beginning. Thank you Jettribe for your great support.
WHERE? WHEN? We will start planning our event for next year, dates and location will be announced at the IJSBA world finals in Lake Havasu! Be there next time. You can’t beat us till you join us!
