Dear IJSBA Competitors,

This is a reminder that the IJSBA will be hosting a spaghetti dinner in conjunction with our Mandatory Riders’ Meeting on October 1. The IJSBA, in conjunction with London Bridge Resort will be offering free meals to all competitors. Meals include pasta, salad, rolls and iced tea from London Bridge Resorts executive catering staff. Meals for persons not a registered competitor will be only $10.00 each with proceeds going towards the Lake Havasu for Youth charity (see below).

The Riders’ Meeting will go over all of the need-to-know information for the competition. This information includes key safety aspects, important procedural instructions, and a review of the rules and regulations of the IJSBA, site venue, and regulatory agencies. While there will be other brief Riders’ Meetings during the week, we recommend that all competitors attend this meeting. Attending a Riders’ Meeting is MANDATORY and this will be the Riders Meeting for all classes up through Wednesday. The course demonstration and practices will follow the meeting the next day. The Spaghetti Dinner and Riders’ Meeting will be held at The London Bridge Resort which is located just down the road from the race site at 1477 Queens Bay. The London Bridge Parking Lot can be entered off of McCulloch.

The Riders’ Meeting shall begin at 7:30. All other Riders’ meetings shall be held on site at the grand stands.

Many aftermarket companies and other industry figures have donated items for a silent auction. All meeting attendees will be permitted to bid on the items. Auctions will close at 9:00 PM and winners should pay on-site. Proceeds will go towards Havasu for Youth. Havasu for Youth, founded in 1979, is a non profit organization whose mission is to educate and empower the youth of Lake Havasu City by providing the skills necessary to assume positive and productive roles in society. This group is the official charity of the 2006 World Finals. For more information regarding Havasu for Youth, please visit http://www.havasuforyouth.org/.

It is the policy of the IJSBA to support local charities. The IJSBA hopes to see all of you at this great event which unites Lake Havasu City with the Personal Watercraft Racing community in a great setting for a great cause.
