The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) and IMG announced today a new addition to the Pro Freestyle competition during the 2004 Dos Equis World Finals.

In an effort to bring even more excitement to the already spectacular Pro Freestyle competition at the World Finals, two powerboats will be brought in after the competitors regular 2-minute routine, creating a wake that the competitor can take advantage of, once, to perform a high-flying stunt! The performance of the competitors wake trick will be included in the total score tallied by the judges. The powerboats will pass in front of the spectator area, and by creating waves, offer an added and spectacular element to this fan favorite event.

This spectacular addition to the Freestyle competition was introduced this year at the IJSBA European Championship with great enthusiasm from both competitors and spectators alike.

The 2004 Dos Equis Desert XX featuring the Dos Equis World Finals takes place October 3-10 at the Crazy Horse Campground on the shores of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
