IJSBA has just received this bulletin from our colleagues in Peru. Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Aldo Morante Puertas.
The Peruvian association has been a leader in South America for the recent progress of the sport on an international level. We are very grateful to the services of Mr. Puertas and all that has been put into racing from his efforts. The following is the notice from Peru:
This mail is to inform you that the International Event scheduled for next Saturday 17th have been renamed as the Federations Cup ALDO MORANTE PUERTAS, in honor of our member of the Board, recently deceased last week.
This event includes offshore and endurance races as well as a display of free ride. Pilots from several countries in South America will be present.
