Jettribe Team Riders to be Racing in Lake Hartwell, SC!

Jettribe is stoked to have 4 Team Riders compete at the 6th Round of the UWP Hydro-Turf National Tour. Here's what our riders had to say before the race weekend:

Team Rider Erminio Iantosca

Factory  Jettribe rider Erminio Iantosca and team headed to Lake Hartwell, Ga for round 6 of the Hydro-Turf UWP National Tour. Talked with Erminio and he said "I'm super excited to get back to racing after a few weeks off, been testing during the break and looking forward to getting back on my ski. Can't wait to see all the fans in Hartwell give them some good racing and show them all the cool Jettribe gear!!"

Almost to the Finals, Lake Hartwell, GA!

With only two back-to-back rounds to go on the National Tour, things are coming down to the wire for the three National Championship podium spots in Pro Runabout Stock that will be decided in Charleston, West Virginia.

Coming into Hartwell I am barely trailing Dennis Mack by only 9 points for the third and final podium position in the overall points chase for the year! Although I can take the points lead over D. Mack this weekend in Hartwell Ga., WV. Is a double points round. What this means is that it will all come down to the final round. Here is the kicker… Eric Francis and Troy Snyder continue their battle for number one and two, which will also be decided in WV. It is going to interesting this weekend in GA. as 1, 2, 3 and myself in 4th in the points, will all be battling for position and momentum going into the championship round. The Pro Am Runabout Stock class could be set-up for more racing excitement this year if it was staged like pro wrestling.

Although I have been plagued by mechanical issues this season, with the exceptions of Lake Charles, LA. and Sparks, NV., we have the issues worked out and are ready for the last two rounds. A bunch of us went out and practiced this past weekend on Lake Seminole here in St Petersburg, FL., and my Sea-Doo PX was running strong. Time to go to work and bring home all three podium championships to Florida!

Hartwell, GA. is going to be a huge race both in turnout and in positioning for WV. In all the classes! These last two weekends will be where the champions are made for many riders including myself… let’s go racing!!!

Round 6 Lake Hartwell, GA

With two weeks off since Colonial Beach, VA, this weekend is Round 6 of the UWP/IJSBA National Tour in Hartwell, Ga. After a long drive down the east coast,I just pulled into Hartwell Marina, the race site for round 6. Now it is time to get unloaded and to work! I'll be trying my best to carry some momentum from the last round in Colonial Beach into the last two rounds of Tour and finish strong.

It should be a great weekend!

Hope to see you here...

ROUND 6, LAKE HARTWELL, GA

I guess the next two races will be most hectic race in the tour stop as it is a back to back week. I personally trained harder than the previous races I’ve raced. From the last round in Colonial Beach, VA I then flew to Seatac Airport in Seattle and headed out to Bellevue. Tha'ts where I’ve been staying and training for the last two and half week.

My training was harder, more situps, more pushup, and more running. Up there in Washington state the air is barely breathable, the atmosphere has very thin air to inhale but I guess its good for my lungs. Well at least thats what people been telling me.

So yeah... every morning around 5 - 7 o’clock and always been 54F - 64F I did my jogging routine to the mountain and came back home for my breakfast. And around 4 pm I had my boxing class, the boxing class was so good for my upper body strength and it was very exhausting at the same time - glad I survived the class.

My dad said that my ski was good from last round, maybe some more testing on it will be perfect. I like to test it always before racing just in case something happen, you’ll never know.

I will be flying out to Georgia asap when everything is settled, all tickets are booked and ready but I just wanna train some more, the exhaustion is worth the prize I guess. I really am looking forward for wearing the Jettribe gear again. Feeling safe and comfy is what all racers want. The gecko grip made me stick to the seat.

I will see you all at the race site!
