The IJSBA is pleased to announce that the IJSBA's 41st Jettrim WGP-1 World Finals in Lake Havasu City, AZ will once again include the Junior Stars Day with the Pros, held on October 2nd from 8 AM to 2 PM.   The popular youth based program, this year, will be conducted by Junior Stars of Florida, Inc.   JSoF is joined this year by many of the volunteers who have made Junior Stars Day with the Pros such an important part of World Finals, as well as some new twists.

The event will begin in the grandstands with key IJSBA staff members discussing safety, course familiarization, sportsmanship and procedures.  Next, we will move down to the water for Course-Marshal-led familiarization laps and rescue board training.  The event will end with the Start Procedures Clinic, where Junior Star and holder will get multiple practice starts under the instruction and advice of Pro racers.  Every participant will receive an appreciation bag from Junior Stars sponsors, and premium prizes will be given throughout the event for correct answers to questions about safety, stewardship and procedures.

Throughout the day every participant will have an opportunity to record a professional interview with world-renowned announcer Dawn Dawson.  These interviews will be edited into professional 90-second promotional videos for each racer to use back home in local media and for courting sponsors.   The Billy Dearman/Judge Motorsports trailer will be parked next to the grandstands and converted into a recording studio and every racer is encouraged to stop by for an interview.

For safety reasons, and because the entire World Finals curriculum is a private event, access to the Crazy Horse property and the IJSBA World Finals event is closely monitored and strictly enforced. Junior Stars participants may collect their personal and vehicle passes at the Junior Stars tent just outside the Crazy Horse gates beginning at 6:30 am. Access will not be granted without these credentials.

All riders and vessels participating in the on-water portion must be registered with IJSBA and safety tech inspected. Rich Boell, IJSBA World Finals Tech Director, will be available in the Tech Area on Saturday Oct 1 beginning at 8 am to perform tech inspections and on Sunday, Oct 2 beginning at 6:30 am.

IJSBA encourages all juniors, parents and supporters to keep up with the latest information by following Junior Stars of Florida on Facebook.

Volunteers and Supporters are encouraged to join the Junior Stars team.  Volunteers are needed to help with access control and logistics, and Racers and their Holders are needed to assist with the Start Procedures Clinic.  Interested parties can contact Doug Underhill at 850-281-1981 or Doug@JuniorStarsOfFlorida.com
