The IJSBA is pleased to announce the scoring system for the Supercourse event at the IJSBA World Championships. The Supercourse event is a Long Course competition event which is a hybrid between traditional Closed Course racing and Endurance Racing. “Supercourse” is a particular brand of Long Course racing developed by Marty Roberts of Teamsport racing, an IJSBA recognized promoter out of Texas. Marty Roberts is the leader in this type of racing and the IJSBA is proud to have been granted permission to use the trade name “Supercourse.”

Supercourse will be run in two motos. The first moto is tentatively scheduled to start early in the morning on October 7. The second moto is tentatively scheduled to begin during the afternoon of October 7.

The top ten overall Supercourse finishers shall receive number plates 1 through 10 respectively. These positions are allocated to a participants overall finish in the entire field of Supercourse competitors. Scoring in this designation of award does not take into account whether a competitor is Pro, or Amateur.

The top three winners in each of these Supercourse classes shall receive a trophy in addition to any number plate they may earn:

Pro/Am Runabout Open (open to all runabouts, two and four stroke, stock, limited, and superstock. For Pro and Expert cardholders only)

Four Stroke Super/Turbo (open to all four stroke runabouts which come OEM equipped with a turbocharged or supercharged engines. Stock Class rules apply. For Expert and Novice cardholders only).

Four Stroke N/A (open to all four stroke runabout which come OEM equipped with normally aspirated engines. Stock Class rules apply. For Expert and Novice cardholders only).

Amateur (open to all runabouts, two and four stroke, stock, limited, and superstock. For Expert and Novice cardholders only).

The first place winner of each subclass will be designated a World Champion.

Supercourse competitors are subject to technical inspections. Safety inspections are mandatory. Riders meeting shall be held TBA. Please stay tuned to www.ijsba.com for further Supercourse and other World Finals information.
