IJSBA I pleased to announce that Short Block Technologies, the planet’s undisputed leader in remanufactured Personal Watercraft Engines, has signed with IJSBA to be the title sponsor of the World Finals for 2023 and 2024. The PWC community will recognize Short Block Technologies by their acronym: SBT. Mostly, though, SBT is recognized by helping tens of thousands of PWC owners keep their vessel running by making affordable engines quickly available when the original powerplant reached the end of its lifespan.
SBT was formed in 1997 by Greg Pickren, and boasts the finest workmanship and engineering to deliver a remanufactured PWC engine that, often, works better than new. Their 70,000 square foot shop in Clearwater, Florida, produces more than 15,000 parts for the various makes and models of PWC. Upon making the title sponsor agreement, the company stated “SBT is excited to be a part of the top race series in Jet Ski Racing. We’ve been a part of and supported the industry for over 25 years and are thrilled to be involved with IJSBA in presenting the World Championships.”
SBT will be integral to IJSBA’s new expanded goals of making aftermarket hull Ski watercraft attainable to the racing community. IJSBA will be working closely with SBT to ensure regular availability of durable engines to be placed in performance watercraft.
