Kenosha, WI November 21st, 2023 – Great Lakes Watercross is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated schedule for its 2024 series, promising another season of exhilarating personal watercraft racing at some of the most iconic locations across the region.
The series kicks off at the racer-favorite Lure Bar and Grill on June 8th and 9th, setting the stage for an action-packed summer of high-speed watercross competition. Returning to the picturesque Mississippi River front, Prairie Motorsports and Rods Ride On Powersports will sponsor rounds 3 and 4 in Prairie du Chien, WI, on June 22nd and 23rd, adding their support to this thrilling event.
Great Lakes Watercross is proud to continue its collaboration with the renowned P1 AquaX, featuring closed-course racing and endurance events. The first of these events will take place at Washington Beach in Michigan City on July 6th and 7th, promising intense competition and showcasing the skill and agility of watercross athletes.
Adding a nostalgic touch to the series, Great Lakes Watercross is excited to host the Harbor Beach Cup in Harbor Beach, Michigan, on July 20th and 21st. This historic race site promises exhilarating racing and a trip down memory lane for personal watercraft racing enthusiasts.
The highlight of the season will be the much-anticipated IJSBA National Championship, scheduled to take place in La Porte, Indiana, on July 27th and 28th. This prestigious event will attract top-tier competitors vying for the title and recognition on the national stage.
Returning to the shores of Lake Michigan, the series will continue with racing at North Beach in Racine August 10th and 11th, offering breathtaking views and challenging conditions for the competitors. The season will culminate with the grand finale August 24th and 25th – the racer banquet and season championship – at the Lure, providing a fitting conclusion to an unforgettable year of watercross excitement.
