EZ Dock, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company will be the official dock and PWC lift sponsor for the 2006 25th IJSBA World Finals PWC racing event. The deal includes docking systems and lifts for the race site. The 2006 World Finals take place from September 30th to October 8th in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA. Every year, Lake Havasu is transformed into a city that houses world famous PWC racers from around the globe and allows them to come and test their racing skills among the best-of-the-best. The nine-day action-packed event is filled with classes ranging from novice to pro. Once again, EZ Dock is a part of this international PWC racing inspiration, and continues to help support and promote PWC racing events.
EZ Dock has designed a large docking system specifically for the World Finals. The main dock is over 58 feet long and houses six EZ Port 3 lifts for personal watercraft. Another dock will be located near the grandstands so that spectators can view the EZ Dock system up close. EZ Dock will also have a swim platform to house the EZ Dock promotional signage.
“I am very excited to have EZ Dock return for the 25th annual IJSBA event. The product was a success last year, making it easier than ever for our racing officials to dock and launch their PWCs. This relationship continues to allow our course marshals and safety crew easier and more rapid access to the water. EZ Dock's involvement is definitely a great asset for up-close press access and for the aesthetics of our event,” stated Scott Frazier, IJSBA Managing Director.
"The sponsorship continues to be a great fit," said Dan Guthrie, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for PlayPower, Inc, parent company of EZ Dock. "This sponsorship allows IJSBA to store watercraft properly and allows EZ Dock to demonstrate to personal watercraft and jet boat owners how durable and versatile the dock and lift products are under harsh conditions. Our unique pylon design helps create a stable dock system, which is perfect for an event of this type where a lot of wave movement is present from high-speed racing," continued Guthrie.
EZ Dock’s products are manufactured from a linear low-density polyethylene that is virtually maintenance free, and carry an eight-year limited warranty. EZ Dock drive-on lifts and docks utilize a patented connecting system for ease of installation and of adding additional components. EZ Dock’s patented floatation chambers and extra-heavy wall thickness create tremendous structural integrity engineered to create stability on water. The hollow floatation pieces are excellent for installations where extreme environmental issues are a concern. All products are light beige in color to help prevent solar heat absorption and to help make surfaces cooler in hot climates.
