2017 East Coast Watecross Tour by Jet Renu Rounds 5 & 6

This race is part of an event called SummerFest, which also features the Bassmaster Elite Tour and ESPN will be onsite filming.

Aside from our normal race schedule, here are the day’s activities on site:

12-4 is the Bassmaster Outdoor Expo

4:00pm begins the Bassmaster weigh in, 51 Boats will be brought in by truck and trailer for official weigh in on Saturday and 12 on Sunday. This is a $100,000 prize competition and only open to the top US Pros.

Parking will be on a first come first serve basis, once the grass pit area fills, overflow will be in the paved parking areas on the other side of the Crete Civic Center.

We will have Hall Communications doing a live broadcast 2-4 on Saturday in our area.

There will be food vendors and restrooms on site

There is no formal boat launch, beach carts and ATVs will be necessary. As always there will be lots of people on site to assist. A site map will be coming soon from the organizer.

There is no on site camping, neighboring campgrounds sold out immediately, however we have heard a few have opened up additional camping.
