IJSBA is pleased to share the news of East Coast Watercross mid season event is happening this weekend at Plattsburgh, New York. We always hear from racers that this is an amazing venue. Midway through the season, this is where the leads start happening and the efforts get tougher and the summer is usually having people more engaged. Here is their official release:
East Coast Watercross is coming back to the beautiful city of Plattsburgh NY in the Adirondack region courtesy of Adirondack Coast and North Country Chamber of Commerce for the seventh time! Lake Champlain has always been one of our favorite lakes to race in over the years it has thrown us some incredible weather and waves, we expect to have some more interesting weather this weekend with a storm forecasted to blow over Saturday so expect some rough water! We expect to have another large turnout as our last rounds have had entries over 100 at each round and expect it to keep growing as the season progresses towards our finale in Sylvan Beach NY for the IJSBA Two Stroke Nationals and the final round of the 1100 Triple Crown!
On Friday August 2nd at 3pm we invite all of our racers and junior racers to come to a free safe boating course put on by the Adirondack Jet Ski club to help raise awareness and teach our racers the importance of being good ambassadors for Jet Skis while rec riding to help improve the image of Personal Watercraft on our waterways.
