Skydive Dubai team toppers in UAE Water Bike Championship 2015
Mulla and Falasi are the UAE stars
The stars of Skydive Dubai team bagged the top places in the competitions of the first and opening round of the UAE Water Bike Championship 2015 under the slogan “Thank You Guardians of The Nation” organized by DIMC at Jumeirah Beaches 3 during the weekend.
Rashid Ali Saleh Al Mulla (UAE) won the first place in the Free Style category against Abdul Rahman Nadira and Samir Abdullah Al Shaheeb from Saudi Arabia who bagged the second and third places respectively.
Jabir Mohammed Saif Al Falasi (UAE) became the topper in Ski Limited Expert standing category against the Italian contestant Marta Sorrentino and Deri Atila from Hungary who won the second and third places.
Khalifa Khalid Belsalah (UAE) scored the second place in Pro Runabout GP sitting category after the first place of Kuwaiti contestant Mohamed Ebrahim Bu Rabie. The third place also was scored by the Kuwaiti Yousef Al Abdel Razzak.
The performance of Al Murr Mohammed Bin Huraiz (UAE), who came in second place in Pro Runabout GP standing, was exceptional after a tough battle with the first place holder Caumont Ludovic from France and Brock William Austin (third) from US.
In Ski Junior Stock category organized for the age group 10-15 years, Salman Younes Abdulwahid Mohamed Saleh, Khalifa Ismail Abbas Al Balushi and Abdulla Abdulrahman Ebrahim Al Hamadi from UAE wiped out the first three places respectively.
In Novice Runabout Stock category, Tariq Mohamed Nour Bukhari from Saudi became first against the second place holder Abdulaziz Adel Saleh Al Najdi from Kuwait and the third place holder Sulaiman Abdullatif Al Madhi from Saudi.
In Expert Runabout Stock, Kuwaiti contestants dominated where Abdulla Fadhel Al Fadhel, Hamad Khalid Al Dalali and Abdulrahman Ghazi Al Omer scored first three places respectively.
“It’s worth mentioning that the competitions witnessed wider participation than expected, where the number of participants reached 67 contestants from various countries in addition to the huge presence of spectators and live media coverage,” Said Dr. Khalid Al Zahed , vice president of DIMC.
“We thank all participants, partners, sponsors, media, well-wishers and supporting government and private organizations for making the event a grand success and wish all contestants more achievements and greater victories in coming rounds which will be held in different locations of the UAE,” he added.
