The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) announced today that the Pro-Am Women Runabout class scheduled for the pro weekend will be open to all women runabout racers (Novice, Expert and Pro) who have qualified for, been confirmed for and are racing in the 2004 World Finals. The class will be renamed Women Runabout 1200 Limited. Novice Women Runabout 1200 Ltd remain as scheduled.
“This is an opportunity for all women runabout racers who choose to participate in this combined class, to be in front of the weekend crowd,” said IJSBA Managing Director, Biorn Tangeland. “For the Novice women who have wondered about taking the next step, here is their chance to give it a try,” continued Tangeland.
