"The sparks were flying at the kick off of the CWA CanAm Tour last weekend in Oscoda, MI."

It might have been a long winter in the north, but the CWA staff and racers got their blood pumping by starting off the Tour with a 3 moto day for all classes on Saturday at the Mai Tiki Resort.

They ran 39 motos with lots of laps and not a single red flag.  A handful of racers took their new SeaDoo Sparks to the start line in the new Runabout Rec Lites class, with Paul Green and Eric Gabryel swapping wins for Rounds 1&2.

The ProAm Ski Stock class continued to be dominated by Josh Block and Dave Davidson, but Shane Riley and Mark Lossing, who moved up in the ranks this year, ran close behind.

The Runabout Naturally Aspirated class also saw the return of an epic battle between Biz Stevens and Larry Letke, with Biz just edging out Larry both days.

The Junior Girls class continues to be one to watch, with six girls returning in the junior ranks.  Hannah Hulett and Shannon O'Connor traded #1's over the weekend.

Rounds 3&4 are coming up June 28th & 29th at the Bella Vista Inn in Caseville, MI.  Multi-time World and National Champion Tera Laho will be hosting a racer clinic at the race site on June 27th.
