The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) is the world’s sanctioning and governing body for the sport of Personal Watercraft Racing.  Formed in the late 1970’s, the IJSBA became an independent organization promoting international racing and world championships holding the first World Finals in 1982.  Now in its 34th consecutive year of world championship events, IJSBA is sanctioning competition for video games that portray personal watercraft.

IJSBA is the first major sports organization to choose to govern digital competitions instead of licensing the competition to third parties.  IJSBA’s participation in the evolution of watercraft gaming tournaments will ensure the most real life experience is enjoyed in the games.  IJSBA’s management of the gaming competitions also allows for real life crossover elements such as participating on the same watercraft as the physical world competitors.  Most importantly, IJSBA can arrange for digital competitors to play against the data and identities of IJSBA’s best racers.
