Upstate Watercraft Promotions, in conjunction with the American Power Boat Association (APBA), present the 2006 Toyota Water Jam – APBA Watercross National Tour rounds #5 & 6 on August 19-20, 2006, at the Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, NY.

Rochester, NY has been the site of the National Watercross Tour for the past 8 years and with each year the excitement grows to new heights! The Toyota Water Jam is expecting to draw over 150 participants and will be packed with fast paced action over the two day event – top competitors from all over the United States will be traveling to scenic NY to battle it out on Lake Ontario’s hard-hitting waves.

Watercross racing will be the premier event at the 2006 Toyota Water Jam APBA National Tour stop which is gearing up for an extreme sports festival.

Additional events will include Dorschel Toyota’s 2 Fast, 2 Furious, 2 Luxurious import car show, motorcycle stunt riders will be tearing up the beach to do their sickest tricks – a triathlon will bring hundreds of determined men & women out to try their hands at running, biking and swimming in this grueling competition – Hot Shots Volleyball Center pro beach volleyball tournament featuring, vendors and music will add to the competitive spirit of the weekend.

Highlighting the action at the Toyota Water Jam there will be film crews traveling up and down the beach shooting the nation’s fastest watercross racers for airing on the Water Channel.

On Sunday, the Toyota/Sea Doo US Regional Championship will be crowning its overall champion along with the weekend’s winners. Rochester is the final stop before competitors head out to the APBA Watercross Nationals in Nashville, TN, September 1-3, 2006 to crown the 2006 APBA National Champions.
